United power changjiang (Jiangsu) co., Itd. has been approved by the national Ministry of Commumication to use 700 meters of high-quality deep water waterline of the Yangtze river, with a land area of 1 ,000 mu. The project will construct two 40,000-ton general cargo berths (the southern berth for both heavy cargo roll-on and roll-off functions) and one 10,000-ton heavy cargo berths. The underwater structure will be designed and constructed according to the berthing capacity of 70,000 ton bulk carriers.The waterline resources used by the project, deep water area close to land,goods can be transferred and delivered directly from land to port ,from Yangtze river to the sea,without secondary transportation and hoisting. Therefore, it is the best choice for projects of large -scale marine engineering equipment, prefabricated buildings, export distribution centers, automobiles,grain and oil.
